Born to Mishikoonz Cady T (http://www.mishikoonz.com/cady.html) and Coonopry's Sebastian Bach (http://coonopry.com/page4.html) on Tuesday, January 19th (two days before Christine's birthday) was a litter of 8 kittens... one of whom didn't make it. Frederica is the kitten at the bottom of the photo - she's the only one with significant white fur.

We watched the Mishikoonz web site every day for photos and kitten cam footage.

Frederica's given "milk name" was "Whiney" because she was very vocal when nursing amidst her siblings. We ultimately chose her because the breeder described her as the "meet and greet" kitten of the litter... very outgoing and fearless, which are good qualities to have in our busy, chaotic household.

The breeder had professional photos taken by Helmi Flick (http://www.helmiflick.com/) of the kittens on the Saturday before we picked up Frederica. Below is a group shot of all of the kittens at 10.5 weeks... a big difference from the newborn photo!
